Millet raisin steamed cupcakes

I like to make this for tea break as it can be done in 5 to 10 minutes(up to before steaming). Then there is another 10 to 15 minutes steaming and tea break is ready. As I am making this more and more often, I have changed the measurement for flour from gram to tablespoon. That means I dun even have to take out my weighing scale now. :)

8 tbsp organic unbleached low protein flour
4 tbsp organic unbleached millet flour
1 tsp organic aluminium free baking powder
1 organic free range egg
2 tbsp organic brown sugar
70ml milk(i used water as I have not introduced dairy to my boy)
1 tbsp organic extra virgin olive oil
12 or more organic jumbo raisin, cut to smaller pieces

1. Sift flour and mix with baking powder in a bowl.
2. In another bowl, beat egg and sugar until thicken.
3. Fold in flour mixture
4. Mix in milk, oil and raisin
5. Steam over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes.

This recipe yields 12 mini cupcakes.

3 of us finished it at tea break. None left. :)

Hi,
I like your blog. It's very information & easy to understand especially for beginner like me.

May I know where you purchase all those ingrediants
- organic unbleached low protein flour
- organic unbleached millet flour
- organic aluminium free baking powder
- organic brown sugar

May I have the shop & brand name of those ingrediants as I really
have no idea where to get it.

Thanks

Hi JJ, thanks for dropping by. I am a full time working mum with an active toddler. So you can find very simple recipes here. :)

Most organic shop, aeon(jusco), cold storage etc will have everything you listed, but organic aluminium free baking powder is not so easy to get. I actually source it from usa in bulk and I am letting go partial of it(in smaller pack) to colleagues. You try to search around, if still can not find and you want to get from me, just let me know. Fyi, I am based in Penang.
