Arrowroot for CNY

One would never notice that their baby is ugly, same for me.
I spent one whole afternoon peeling and frying arrowroot.
For a first timer, of course the process wasn't that smooth.
I cut my fingers, cracked my nails and had sore throat the next day.
But at the end of the day, in my humble opinion, I somehow felt that the outcome was perfect. :p

Until just now my colleague pointed at my photo and told me that my arrowroot has ugly edges.
My heart was broken. Sob Sob.
I am not going to forgive him for waking me up from my dream. :p

No wonder you got sick.. Too much of fried oily food.
Although the outlook of the food is not that good, but the most important thing is the taste.

Well SS... as long as you are happy with what you had popped out from your shear hard work.. that matters most. :)

Happy "Niu" Year to you and all in the family. May this year be a healthy, wealthy and prosperous year for everyone. :)

p/s: You can try out breadfruit (buah sukun) instead. I love those chips from my Pulau Aman trip. :)

Hi, I like arrowroot so much. But I am not as hardworking as you- did not prepare that by myself. However, lucky enough to have someone to give me a free ' bottle'.

Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for the compliment. There are many good cooks out there and I am only a beginner.

Hi My Taste Heaven,

You are lucky to get 'free' bottle. :)
But I made very little this round due to inefficiency.
Will try to improve next year.
