30g organic black sesame powder
10g organic flaxseed powder
10g organic grass fed ghee
2 tbsp organic brown sugar

Hi Soo Sean,

Can you advise is there any difference between active dry yeast stated in your recipe and instant dry yeast? I bought the yeast from the bakery supplies shop but I'm not sure what kind of yeast is that. Not sure if you remember me, I asked about your bread machine brand before, and now finally I got my first Tesco bread machine! Hehe...

Wanted to try this as I love black sesame! :)

Hi Colourpen,
Yes, I remember. Congrats on your new bread machine. :)
There are 3 types of yeasts.
1. Fresh yeast - Wet yeast that needs to be refrigerator all time.
2. Dry yeast - Wet yeast that has been dehydrated.
3. Instant yeast - Dry yeast that has bread improver and other additives.

I would go for 1 or 2. Will not get 3. :)

Hey, now I really wonder what kind of yeast that I bought, the shop owner asked me to keep in the freezer...

Will there be any difference in the measurement? Assuming mine is instant yeast, can I put 1/2 tsp stated in the recipe?

Btw, I do not have flaxseed powder. Think I will omit it. Is 180ml water too wet for this bread? I tried another recipe with 300g of flour and 200ml water, the bread collapsed during baking. And your recipe only calls for 230g of flour with 180 water, not sure my bread will again collapse or not later...hmmm...

Fresh yeast is wet and active dry yeast/instant yeast is in powdered form.If you have instant yeast, cut 25% from active dry yeast quantity.

Fresh yeast.

This recipe works well on my bread machine, but you might need to tweak a bit for yours. You might want to refer to some of the tesco bread maker recipes and adapt the black sesame loaf to fit your machine. I found one here. Hope it is useful.
